Developing Leaders in a Business

In Marvin Bower’s book “The Will to Lead,” he analyzed what makes a leader.  Although published in 1966, characteristics discussed continue to carry importance today.  McKinsey & Company provides excerpts from Mr. Bower’s book on their site.  In particular, listening was highlighted as an infrequently used but extremely important attribute to proactively negate challenges and seize new opportunities.
