Leadership and Outside Resources

In his Harvard Business Review post, author Brook Manville writes about how successful chief executive officers use both internal and external networks.  In particular, he posits that external networks can help solve difficult challenges when timing is essential.  Mr. Manville suggests that successful CEOs mobilize individuals through humility and understanding the additional networks that they can bring.  By tapping into these resources, leaders can find more creative solutions.
