Giving Organizations

Strategy+Business contributor and president of Valuedance, Susan Cramm, explores Adam Grant’s book “Give and Take.”  Employee behaviors can be categorized into three types: givers, takers and matchers.  Cramm argues that leaders should encourage and incentivize giving while removing takers.  Organizations will benefit by attracting the right talent and be rewarded for their generosity.
