Centered Leadership

In an article for McKinsey Quarterly, authors Joanna Barsh, Josephine Mogelof and Caroline Webb highlight five capabilities critical to effective leadership uncovered through interviews with over 140 business leaders.  These five capabilities, deemed “centered leadership,” span across industries to drive extraordinary results.  Though mastery of one capability is powerful, leaders who have mastered all five are significantly more likely to say they are pleased with their performance as a leader and their life outside of the office.
